Painting Conservation
The painting below is in the process of being cleaned and conserved by English Heritage’s paintings conservators.
Conservation of the movement of the musical longcase clock in the Bucket Hall
Musical longcase clock, the pinned drum playing a choice of 7 tunes on 10 bells, striking the hour on a single bell, playing the selected tune on the hour (Possibly on the half hour as well, but this is not known at present).
Cabinets of Curiosity: Lifting the lid on Audley End’s hidden collections
